Sorry but he was a lot faster, at least a second per lap for most of the race. Only when button had just pitted for tyres did he match Hamilton's pace.
I think the real donkeys were all of the top three for not pitting when they could see that MS was a lot faster than everyone else with around 15 laps to go. If any of them had pitted at that point they would have got to the end of the race in a much shorter time than they would have done. Lewis should have had a set of scrubbed softs sat in the garage as he went soft, hard, hard. He could have pitted and the result would have been the same as it was in Canada.
