If its your first marathon do NOT get hung up on times. Just enjoy it. Outside of the running community no-one knows (or cares) how fast a sub 4 marathon involves going.

Hopefully you will have run a long slow run of around 20 miles 2-3 weeks before, just taper down from there. Food wise do NOT try anything new. Stick with what has worked for you. Wont hurt to carb load the night before but trust in your training and you will make it around just fine.

I am running my 13th marathon in Brussels on October 7th.
