Labour left the country in a mess?! Let's think back to what they inherited shall we?
Labour inherited a country where every possible nationalised industry was privatised. Strikes, riots, cuts. Giving the.working class people the chance to buy their council house and then hiking up the interest rates to cripple them, forcing them.to accept their situation because otherwise they were homeless. While we're on the subject of wars, who was the first government to take us to war in Iraq?
And back to this government. Cutting the welfare system, which due to the masses of job cuts under the guise of cutting borrowing will leave thousands even worse off, meaning more people needing welfare which means guess what... More borrowing!! And while we're on borrowing, since the Tories have been in charge, only ONCE have they borrowed less in a month than Labour did in the corresponding month. September just gone
And whilst public services are being annihilated, people on.welfare being crippled, taxes on pasties, grannies, petrol duty going soaring, what do Cameron and co do? Write a £40,000E cheque a year to anyone registered a millionaire. Which incidentally includes quite a number of Tory front benchers.
Seem fair to you does it?!
