A second point about borrowing from Banks. Under NO circumstances, have all your loans from the SAME bank. Spread them out! Why...? Because WHEN it all goes wrong (as it always does, eventually), a single 'bank' doesn't hold ALL of your assests in their NASTY grasp! The behaviour of banks when it 'all goes wrong' is a sight to see and never to be forgotten!

If it's the very start of a 'boom' (and you'll be brilliant if you can see that before it's near the end) there MAY be a reason to consolidate all your loans to one 'bank'.... but.... spread the debt across multiple institutes as soon as you possibly can.... and DEFINITELY when 110% mortages are available!
