That MIGHT explain why it ended the F1 races..... but it does NOT explain why it closed all (most of) the other classes of racing there as well.

Look how many tracks got closed for safety reasons REGARDLESS of the ease or non-existence of TV coverage.

Finally...... are you trying to tell us that the TT is EASIER to give TV coverage than the 'Ring......? 38 miles compared to 14 miles? Don't make me laugh!
