Well I think he has pretty much stated that he's not up to the challenge, which is fair enough.

I suppose when you look at it from his point of view, he has another life that he wants to pursue that makes the racing look a little pointless now. After all, he has spent all his life racing and he has achieved his own personal goals.

Maybe his next goal is to get his kid into F1, it will be in a bambino kart before it can walk ; )
