I think the question you have to ask yourself is did the grid numbers drop in the early 90's when we had the last economic slump? If they didn't then this economic slump shouldn't be any different.

If anything the numbers will increase because people will not be over stretching their finances to buy bigger houses and holiday apartments abroad so they should have the spare cash to let their sons/daughters do some kart racing.
