I can guarantee that what I have put is 100% correct. Supplying general kart spares requires an enormous turnover (£100'sK per anum) to make it anywhere near providing a really quite modest income - you would be amazed at how many spares distributors are 'tacked' on to other business interests that subsidise the running costs.
Karting in the UK is an extremely small niche market business with too many spares distributors for the sport to support - that's why most are tacked on to existing businesses.
The exceptions to this would be - importing one of the leading makes of chassis, engines, tyres, or running drivers at high end UK or European/World level.
