Will you really are getting a couple of things mixed up my friend.

If you wanted a car built by Craftsmen,welded by hand ,each panel hand beaten,engine assembled installed and tuned by just the one engineer etc; then I truly believe Britain is probably still the place to get the car made. BUT it will cost you.

If on the other hand you want something mass produced by robots and people who fit nuts and bolts and drill holes and fit components then you need a mass produced one,now that is where the price drop comes in, probably 1 engineer to every 50 or so car builders, and the tolerances they build to are way out sometimes (not the Japanese tho they sometimes put us to shame).
