HP is a measurement of power. As is kW. kW is kJ per second. 80HP is about 60kW. If you run a 60kW motor for 6.67 seconds it uses about 400kJ (ignoring inefficiencies).

Just looking at a pack of walkers, I see they have 550kJ in a 25g packet. Although I can't find an official power content of a packet of crisps (lol) i'm fairly confident they burn quite slowly making them quite low on power. Power is Volts times Amps. And its the contribution of these two that hurts. I think a potato on its own produces about 1x10^-4 Watts. About 600 million times less powerful then this motor being used in F1.
