There's certainly nothing in the "story" that is newsworthy. I also fail to see anything that she is doing that is admirable (albeit my knowledge is limited to that of whatever is on the office radio). At the root of it all is the intention to get as much publicity (and money) as possible in order to ensure a secure financial future for her children. Whilst I can understand that (and I would surely do the same faced with the same situation), I can't help but feel it is perpetuating the endemic culture of "something for nothing."
