They wouldn't bother, the issues are aero related. As all the aero devices work in conjunctions with each other trying them out on an enzo shell would be a waste of time. They have windtunnels and computational fluid dynamics to filter out the chaf. Front wings and diffusers are relatively easy to change at a track. The problem for the teams who didn't think about the diffuser idea is its built into the crash structure at the rear and I don't know what the homologation terms are for that part of the car.
