The new rules mean all decisions are transparent. It appears when the Race Director specifically asked Hamilton whether he had consciously allowed Trulli to overtake, he insisted that he had not done so. However, from the radio and interview, it appears Lewis did consciously allow Trulli to overtake. He lied, therefore he got penalised. Nothing to do with what was right or wrong on track, he just lied to the stewards. Strange, it is all very strange.
