Hmm, 14% of deaths caused by speeding, 8% caused by drink driving.
Ones that jump out to me in the killed section of the casualties table: Over the speed limit = 14% Driving under influence of alcohol = 8% Travelling too fast for conditions = 17% Loss of control = 34% of casualties (i'm assuming the ones who were speeding as well are included) Failing to look properly = 21% Failed to judge other persons path or speed = 12% Sudden braking = 3% (that will include any sudden brakes for speed cameras) Careless, reckless in a hurry = 17% Pedestrian failing to look properly = 10%
Conclusions?
(well done QOT for finding these!)
