Should be password protected and accessible only by the businesses IT professional.

This would surely include any company pc, but my point was that if a company is fulfilling its commitments and meeting its targets, its best to turn a blind eye to what is technically missuse of company property as if the workforce feel spied upon it can be counter productive.
