Consider the fact that seasonal flu which traditionally hits us in winter, kills around 4,000 people a year IN BRITAIN ALONE. Swine flu has a significantly lower mortality rate however, as some of you have pointed out, we really need to be careful with those that have underlying health conditions as they are most at risk.
I agree with Roadrat, the problem lies with the hype.
Kudos, if I may answer your point, we cannot live our lives with IF this and IF that, because if we did, we would never do anything - and that includes karting!
