What happened at Brands Hatch last weekend and on Saturday to Massa is one of those things that you accept can happen in motorsport. You cant prevent the unexpected happening. But you can try and reduce the risk.

Its tough on Alonso, but he's not slow to shout about driver safety when he feels it is necessary. So he should not be too surprised about getting a penalty.

I think the penalty is harsh, but it does send a message too the teams. Maybe its the fact that the team forgot about the earlier penalty that Vettal got for a similar incident, so the stewards felt that they needed to reinforce the fact with a harsher penalty until the team/drivers get the message.

Hopefully the race ban will be changed to a fine and we will have an exciting race at Valencia
