Hi Doink,

Thanks for the swift reply. Thing is i tried to insure through the website and it said i didn't have insurance. I then went on askmid.com to check the database to see if my car was insured and it said I wasn't.

Having spoken to my insurer they have said my details may take up to 14 days to be updated on the national database and i'd have to wait for the certificate to be sent through the post. Damn angry as I needed the car ASAP, can't understand how it can take TWO WEEKS to update what I imagine is an automated database and i'm paying for insurance for nothing!
