totally OTT - this is a flu bug and currently is not as bad as seasonal flu which hits us every year.
I work in a retail environment and we have many thousands of employees and our numbers of people off with swine flu is in the region of 0.3% - I daresay some of these haven't got it either! We haven't even come remotely close to shutting any of our shops nor have any of our suppliers shown any signs of problems.
I reiterate: don't believe everything you read and hear, take sensible precautions (good hand hygiene, avoid people who are coughing/sneezing etc.) but if you do think you have got it, contact the NHS for advice.
