1080P is Full HD.

You will not get this on Cable or SKY. Only 1080i which is still HD but not the quality of 1080p

Unless you have a top drawer set up I dont think you would notice the differance on TV tx's. 1080i is VERY good.

I think that LED is very close to the best plasmas and much better than LCD.

I don't think it will be long before LED will be the benchmark format. Costs should fall dramatically as people move over to LED sets as well.
