anyway,i had a think about what you chaps mentioned and ive been trawling the internet and come up with the following image.it seems to me that fangio had a few different helmets so ive gone with the one that compliments the painting more

there were also several numbers so ive chosen number 1

i realised that i cant have armco barriers in there and i was just going to have a blurred field but ive tried to be a bit more in keeping with the feel of the painting

think im ready to get stuck in and paint now!
