I think you miss read the topic. I was asking about creating my own site. But on the topic of this site, has anyone found a site that is slower? but perhaps this is a function of it's popularity.

What does bug me though is that popular topics must constantly be revisited rather than popular threads rising to the top. All the good advice becomes buried.
