Check that it is not overfilled with oil. It should not smoke. Five hours is a long time for an engine to "settle in" and I cannot believe the dealer has said that. If your new car smoked you would be back in the dealers office demanding your money back. He will probably say that you have overloaded it at the end of five hours at full load and it stilll smokes. If it smokes, it is burning oil.
