Is there actually any proof that kids between 17-18 in faster cars crash more than in slower cars?? After all my first car was a 4 speed 1.0 litre Vauxhall Nova but even that could top 100mph! How many of these dead kids crashed at ABOVE 100mph? I would hazard a guess the majority all crashed below that kind of speed and therefore how relevant is the speed of the car to how much you pay for insurance?
Once again it's just another case for more stringent car tests and teaching these kids how to drive properly and safely. I would trust a well taught 17 year old in a Civic Type R more than a poorly taught 25 yr old in a 1.1 litre Ford Fiesta!! Sorry to digress...
