To be fair to him though Aquila he bought that from Dave Hunt who had bought the team from Peter Collins and Peter Wright, so technically to my mind it is the naming rights of what was Team Lotus - even if it had been on the side of Pacific for the 95 season and was somewhat tarnished.

Group Lotus, which Danny Bahar is spending dry, was never involved in F1 and has just as much F1 providence as ummm, Caterham! In fact as Caterham owns the rights to the Lotus 7 they might actually have more as I believe a Lotus 7 based car ran in a South African GP in the early 60's, maybe 63?
