2/ My mate of 50 years Bill Currie and his passenger were killed in the sideacr TT last year. Bill was not a stupid man,having ben a works development engineeer for Weslake and owning and flying his Russian and Eastern block miltary aircraft,(flying in them was dangerous especially the Russian helicopters).
His passion WAS motor cycle racing and even as a works rider had a choice,HE chose.At his inquest last week,the findings were that a sidecar outfit ahead had dumped oil on the exit to a corner,Bill's outfit hit the oil spun and careered into a wall. The oil had not ben noticed by the marshalls,but hey as the coroner,his aged mum,the vicar and all his friends said,he and his passenger died doing what THEY wanted to,it was not their job.
3/ Do you know there are more children and adults killed per year falling from horses than TT riders,more cyclists killed, and more people drowned and killed in Industrial accidents..

work,,gymkhanas and cycling , are you suggesting signs warning these people their work, pastime or chosen method of transport ".......ing is dangerous" and we should not do it.
Do you think ITpro visionally would make any difference.
$/ My condolences go out to the family of Claire Squires ,only 30 ,and respect to the way the British public have donated to her chariy,over 1 million pledged to date,that also is PERSONAL choice..

N.B.Ian do you think you could ask the site owners to delete some of your threads as I am told these are what is slowing the site down!!!!
