Overall this is a good move. He will be able to show everyone that he is able to adapt to a car and with Ross Braun I think he is a much better person to take Lewis under his wing than Martin Whitmarsh. Lewis needs someone to look after him and make good strategy calls for him and Ross is that kind of person.

Maclaren might have the quickest car but every season they have made silly mistakes and it's costing them championships. They just come across as a corporate company these days with a computer says no attitude. They need Ron back.

You only need to look at how Alonso drives, not the fastest car but has the consistency that wins championships. It's perfectly possible that had Lewis been in a Mercedes this year he would have the same amount of points as what he has got now even though the Mercedes is slower. Just look at Kimi and where he is in the championship, you don't see him getting wins and poles.
