"(if) we pull out of the EU", who do you mean by "we"?

The UK. That means the United Kingdom as a country and its residents.

I think a lot of people are fed up with the lack of a spine the conservatives now have. Ian will say that they can't do anything because they are in a coalition but I think a lot of people don't believe they will doing much better even if they weren't in a coalition. There are also too many pro EU members in the party, you can easily split the party in two, one for pro EU and one for getting out of the EU. This is not a party that is in harmony, it's the opposite and is a recipe for disaster at a time when we need clear decisive leadership.

However I do not believe the voters are simply splitting the party in two based on the EU in or out policy. I think there are a lot of other reasons that UKIP appeal to a wide number of people and there will be a lot of common ground that UKIP will appeal to.

In short they appeal to a wide variety of people for a wide variety of reasons which makes them a vote winner.

They propose a flat tax rate for everyone which benefits everyone 25% and £13,000 personal allowance - refreshingly simple it's fair for everyone, if you want more money then you can go out and earn it and not have to worry about getting taxed more on it. It's something that I've always banged on about so this reason alone is a vote winner for me.

I think also it's pathetic to see all these conservatives suddenly piping up to say they now want out of Europe. Where were their voices a couple of months ago when Ken Clarke was calling UKIP 'clowns'? Career politicians worrying about their own futures rather than the peoples and countries futures me thinks.

Chris.
