The MSA insurance is worth F all if you are injured. I know from experience and I expect there are families of officials who also found it was worth nothing. You have more cover from a track insurance at an IKR meeting. If you think you are covered, dream on. I was out of action for a year after being hit by a kart whose brakes failed because of negligence. I was asked to officiate and signed on correctly. Stood in the place the clerk assigned me to behind a tyre wall. They wouldn't even pay my transport costs to and from the hospitals over the year.
