No, it's just a piece of wire.

Make sure it is wrapped around the Ht lead a couple of times.

Also, go into the Alfano rpm setting page, change it to anything, save it,reset Alfano, go back in and set the rpm page to the setting you want and save again.

Sometime the prom gets corrupted and you need to change,save,reset,change to desired setting,save, to get the Alfanny to behave itself.

if it is really playing up, I go through each setting page and change them all, do a reset, then go back and set them to the ones I want.
