i used to have a 1996 prokart and had a good time on it about 2002 never raced but had some good days at pfi practice days how ever my dad lost interest and not having a driving license ment i couldn't get about a year later my kart was stolen :( very annoyed

anyway about 4 years have past since then, i went go-karting with work last night n totally loved it forgot how much good fun it is so i want to get back into it

my question is with a budget of £500 for just the kart as i have the other gear what sort of thing will i be looking at? and is prokarting still the best 4stroke kart to go for as i have heard a few things about thunder karts and tkm 4 stroke did any of these ever take off?
