Just picked up a new kart and got to the track and the mychron 3 isn't registering lap times properly.

Temp and revs are working correctly but it seems to be registering lap times every 2-5 minutes, i.e. in a 10 min session it gave me lap times of 2.50 , 4.30, etc...

I haven't tried a magnet on the sensor yet but any ideas on why this might be happening? The track has 3 strips so I set the Mychron to 2 strips as its supposed to be. If it is the sensor, where can I get it repaired or get a new one?
