you are probably right there, certain officials on some circuits might well react or not react depending on who is involved.
Then again i have seen that too in the Uk, let's say Henry Surtees was not likely to be penalised at Buckmore Park for an offense while someone else was systematically ticked off.
In Belgium last year all was well while i was conversing in english during scrutineering, as soon as i spoke French and the officials realized i was French and not english, they were going through everything to try to fail me :)
