Firstly my apologies if this topic has already been discussed a lot but I am only just getting into karting so I am a bit behind!

I was planning to buy a TKM very soon and start competing sometime next year. However, I have just heard about the new 2009 bodywork/crashworthiness regulations.
Does anyone know how they will affect TKM?
I was planning to buy a 2006 chassis so would that be affected?
If modifications are required roughly how much will they be and what is involved?

Any information would be much appreciated as I dont want to buy the 'wrong' one.
