I have tried a number of tests for SL6 tyre temp and have arrived at 65 deg C as a good feel but this depends on the circuit. This is a surface temp taken via IR thermometer taken at side of the circuit on a private test.
The true tyre temp should be taken with a special probe that spikes below the tyre surface, however these are expensive and we do not have a vast amount of rubber on kart tyres so probably best avoided other than on brand new tyres.
