You are VASTLY underestimating the acceleration and POWER of a 250 Twin!

Did THAT look like 0 to 60 in LESS than 2 seconds???? Because, in RACE trim, a 250 twin was timed at:-

.........1.98 second from 0 to 60!!!!

Remember, in their heyday, they were delivering about 97bhp! From a motor that was VASTLY lighter!

As I've said before, those sorts of karts are the equivalent of putting a diesel train motor on a motor-bike! It'd have VAST power...... but would it GO????

Going 1 step futher, I suspect that a Honda Cadet kart would THRASH it round a normal, shortish track!
