you obviously dont know what a current 250 twin costs !

FYI: there are experienced racers in the USA developing karts with 600cc 4 cyl "super sport" motors for a serious race class.
Also another professional outfit are developing the Aprilla 550 V twin for "the "superkart" series.
It is planned to have 100+ hp and be competitive with the latest custom 250 twin 2 strokes (BRC, PVP etc)
