Andy - have you read page 25 of the July karting magazine? Martic Hines says that the Comer w60s being sold are so close in performance that removing the seal would incre3ase costs. He also says that when they took the seal off the Honda engine they went 2s quicker and people are now paying Ł1200 for engines!
Obviously the Ł10k to Ł20k that is quoted for Comer w60 engines has never really happened. Another quote "With no seal, if a tuner finds a trick that will gain a tenth he can start charging Ł2000 for engines and he can hold people to ransom".
Wow - i am so glad that Comer W60s have never got that expensive!!!
