Ian,
Do you think blueprinting would still work as well as it used to?
We noticed quite a jump in comer engine prices after Lewis Hamilton moved into F1 and all the oublicity about how he got started with McClaren.
Obviously there has always been money at all levels of motorsport but there seem to be far fewer dad/lad teams around in S1 than a few years ago and far more teams.
Would you be more likely now to have people prepared to build an engine just to last the one race weekend and then rebuild to almost the tolerance for the next race? I can't see them doing the same for club meetings so maybe that is where blueprinting would have the most benefit.
