Liam and Ditch are correct, those are good methods.
The percentages I quoted are a (pretty close) guide and you should still move the weight as you feel fit. You'll very soon know if it's too nose heavy as the back will be a right handful. Similarly, if you are getting understeer, think about moving weight forward.
Don't forget you can test the front-rear balance simply by leaning forward in the seat or possibly putting a folded pullover behind you. If you now prefer the handling (on this day), try going FURTHER forward until it gets worse! You'll then know if it's worth looking at weight distribution 'today'.
