On track the ease of driving is the same either way, clutched or not. The clutch doesn't disengage in normal driving, only if you have a big lockup on the brakes. If that happens you have to blip the throttle to get the clutch to re-engage, which can cost as much as 2 tenths on a lap time. I avoid having big lockups because of this.
Not lazy Ian, it's honestly the only way I can be sure to be out there. Let's not do the whole argument over again - we know you find it an unacceptable way for people to go TKM karting - yet some of them will continue to do so if it seems appropriate to them. Try to live with it?
