Our engine never came with a log book and even the suppliers of the log book said we didn't need it but having heard about drivers being excluded for non production, I decided to pursue the (seemingly utterly pointless) matter of getting one sorted out. I didn't ask the scrutineer what would happen if I didn't produce the log book but I assume exclusion and we've won a b final at a different circuit and weren't asked for it at scrutineering. Can't see the point in it tbh but the scrutineer did originally state that I had to record service info which I disputed and he acknowledged it (after checking the good book)
