Maybe, but the claim was that S1 went ahead and did this in defiance of the drivers wishes - I was just pointing out that this wasn't strictly speaking the case.
Of course, if IAME or other classes weren't asked to vote on it, then that isn't fair, and they should have been given the same opportunity as we were at Rowrah.
I guess that, since it was introduced mainly as a response to the carnage at Rowrah the weekend before in the O Plate, the decision to have it in S! generally was taken on the basis of it having been a success in the Rotax series, and just migrated across to the MSA series without consultation.
