dont forget clubman has absolutely nothing to do with the MSA, its run at the club level and for the local clubs to write and enforce the clubman rules.
Also the phrase SP is now a bit redundant, the only "SP" bit is the cylinder head, in particular the combustion chamber volume..... the rest of the engine is all but equalized now that cyl-blocks can be machined to a minimum height.
I must say I have seen so many bent SSOB engines slip through post-race scrutineer checks and have absolutely fooled the TDC checking gauge.....nice to see a load get caught recently via a switched on scrutineer with a dial test gauge down the spark plug hole to set TDC.......how loud I laughed.
