Not sulk mode but the Rotax always went well on an OTK or derivitive.
We tried many many different chassis over the years with Rotax and the otc always did best and that included lap records.
I don't think spares for odd chassis are a problem because you can usually get any seat, tank, steering wheel, side pods, axle, bearings, front bars, track rods and even stub axles to fit from another source.
You will find odd variations in the otk chassis because they hide stuff within the tubes that you can't see until l you take an angle grinder to them.
The X30 seems to harmonise with different chassis and it may be due to it's drivability.
We know the racing is closer now and it's much more down to driver ability and setup.
