Just got a mail back from Russel Anderson the Dunlop cadet tyre importer, this supports everything said above, cut & pasted below:
"The new tyre is just a little harder rather than softer. It is interesting that the MSA asked for a slower tyre but that is what was asked for and what we submitted. In testing it did exactly as asked and was on average 5 tenths slower at tracks like Whilton Mill. Just a fraction of slide has been seen which encourages a lift at times but not a dramatic change. The other point was at over 250 laps they were producing a 1 tenth better times than at 30 laps. Lets see what manufacturer's change if anything."
