Hello Simon, I write the regs for the Honda engine. The coil. Not in a position to make any comment about it, I'm waiting for some info from Honda which should be with me next week, I hope. I'll update as soon as I hear anything. The cost of the head skim should be very little, talk to your engine provider or local engineering workshop. On most engines there will be very little, if anything, to remove, it is just my further attempt to equalise the performance of the engines as much as possible at minimal cost. My intention is, as you say, is to be able to take an engine out of the box, do the skim and the other few necessary preparation procedures and get a quick, competitive engine.
