We had a 2012 P1 back in 2014 and I would say its main down-fall was the brakes, I just thought they were too fiddly to service, but for suyre they worked! also when I peeled the stickers off the side of the caliper, it became apparent it was from Wright karts, which did surprise me, hence they are probably paying a premium for those.
Then we moved to a Zip, now a Synergy, and the braking system on both is fantastic, the caliper is really easy to service and adjust, and this KC billet version that P1 are using looks really similar in style to what Zip and Synergy have been doing for many years now.......in billet CNC, it certainly looks better than the janky old black cast version.
