Hi Ted.

I built my own rig together with a very accurate bespoke programmable timer (Not a 555 timer) which I can set from a few seconds to several minutes which means that the more fluid I run, the more accurate I can get the flow rate. I use gold and precious metal scales to weigh the fluid passed so my accuracy is within a drip! The delivery is kept at a constant height, temperature and Hg. so there is no change throughout the run. I do several runs on each jet and take the average over the runs, even though it is very accurate.

As I've found, some jets are very inaccurate, which is why I believe that flowing is the only way to really tell what you are changing your jets to and from.
