Hi everyone
Im making a return to karting for about the forth time now.I have bought a historic kart to do a few track days with a bunch of mates. We all have 90's air cooled 100's and the Tkm ka100 rotary I have just bought has an ibea 3 jet fitted .
So only ever used tilly 19mm carbs when I raced 100c back in the day so these 24mm carbs and especially this 3rd jet is new to me .
If there is anyone who can reply with a run down on what the 3rd jet does and how to set this car up would be greatly appreciated , ive done a little looking around and already have 3 different jet settings recommended. Im assuming that the low jet will be further out than the high ? or has that changed . Ive been told 1/quarter low and 1/half high and only turn 3rd jet out a fraction after 3 laps ?
